"Today's foam insulation is very energy efficient and has excellent insulating capabilities. However, foam insulation is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation."

"New energy efficient high speed compressors are smaller and have higher pitched sounds than older, larger low speed compressors."

Running all the timeCheck the base grill to make sure air flow isn't blocked
Check your room temperature"In a warm room, your refrigerator will need to run more often in order to stay cold enough."
Light not workingCheck to make sure the bulb isn't burned outUnplug the refrigerator before changing the bulb.

Not levelUnscrew the leveling legs until they contact the floor
Styrofoam in my refrigerator Do not remove foam insulation from the vents.
You should remove only the Styrofoam that is easily accessible and obviously used to protect the refrigerator during shipment.
Checking temperaturePlace thermometer in a liquid in the fresh food section. You can use any liquid; just ensure the liquid has enough time to adjust to the same temperature as the fresh food section.
Measuring air temperature will cause inaccurate readings and lead to higher energy consumption."Air thermometers measure air temperature, which rapidly adjusts to room temperature when door is opened."
